Polish/cleaner for the Custom 60

Postby LOSTVENTURE » Thu Oct 08, 2009 4:17 pm

I like to keep my guitars looking as good as possible. What do you guys recommend I use to keep that shine on my Hallmark?
Thanks in advance.

During my time working at a Music Store, the best results came from Gibson Polish. It works especially good on Nitro Finished Guitars but will wax Poly very well also. Give it a try. ;)

If it's not in need of a deep shine (and is also a great cleaner), Lizard Spit is this picker's fave, with Gibson cream as #2.

First of all, Thanks Dennis, that was an eye opening bit of information.
Second, to Haole Jim. I just discovered "Gorilla Snot" to help keep my pick in place and now you tell me to use "Lizard Spit" to clean the guitar. Are their any other animal excriments that I should be aware of.

 ........I don't know man.......between Lizard Spit, Gorilla Snot and Dr. Duck's AxWax, it kind a makes one want
to go on a 'Safari' with a Monkey Grip Teisco or Ibanez as a weapon to use, to hunt down a Fender 'Jaguar'......
