RIP Lemmy 1945-2015

Postby zarfnober » Mon Dec 28, 2015 6:42 pm

Sad but true. Mosrite content? I believe he owned one, and even said in an interview " and a Mosrite for the heavy poop".

Turn it up!

For me, this is the worst rock and roll death since Johnny Ramone.

I saw Motorhead last September in Chicago, and I'm really glad I did.

R.I.P Lemmy.

Throughout the 80's and 90's, I was always working in the food business. Since then, it seems that every time I saw an ad for them playing, they had just played the night before. Too late now, very sad day for rock and roll.

Lemmy was a free spirit in the rock and metal movement. I thought he was great and so original. I am sad I never got to see him live either. I am even sadder my wife (bless her little heart) did and she hated them. She said they were too loud and spit onstage. Um, and your point is?

RIP Lemmy

I'll have to admit I didn't really know who he was when I met him in 2010. I was invited to Jerry Lee Lewis's 75th Birthday Bash at the Fox Theater in LA. I got to hang out back stage with The Head Cat, Reverend Horton Heat, and some of Jerry Lee's band. I spent most of my time talking with Jim Heath and Slim Jim Phantom. It's sad to lose another legend.

God bless. Maybe I'm seeming a bit out of place here but hey, R.I.P.
