I have Mosrite Ventures model bass with 2 pickups and a side plug in. Under the pick guard is a rough routing job to put this together. I think it is 1963 prototype..no serial numbers anywhere!Any ideas? Thanks Gary C 831 3458504

You have to post your photos onto a website www.photobucket.com and then learn from there how to post them onto here using the IMG tag above. Im still learning that also. YOu might type into the above search box 'posting photos' and see if some further info comes up or send message to Mel.

Vintage Guitar Mag just had an article on Mo bases. If memory serves, they indicated the 2-pup Mk I style was only made from 66 to 69.

i think I have a 1964 Ventures model Mosrite bass but it has no serial number.
Why?

I saw an earlier bass online that was factory retrofitted from 1 to 2 pickups.
That would explain the 63-64 design with two, but good question as to why not a serial number?
