Those who know me and my wife know we've got a bit of, well, clutter, in our house. Thanks to the modern miracle of reality tv, we're going to get organized!

CLEAN HOUSE, on the Style Network, is coming to help us sort through and thin the collection. This will culminate in a yard sale on Feb 12. There will be tiki, hawaiiana, and kitsch galore - more than 25 years worth of collecting will be there for the taking! There will also be a performance by MESHUGGA BEACH PARTY! And does it hurt to be on TV? Come and wear your tiki finest!

DETAILS:
KOOKYKITSCH / CLEAN HOUSE yard sale
Saturday, Feb 12 9AM - 1PM
2909 Chapman St, Oakland (just over the Park St. Bridge from Alameda)

This was almost worth a trip. You had me at sock monkey. Good luck with your purge, Mel!

Will there be guitar parts in the yard sale?

Are you guys going to play a whole set or just a couple songs? Either way, we'll go! Guess I'll bring my truck to cart home all the valuable loot.

Probably some. Depends on the yard sale rules. Generally they donate anything that doesn't sell, and there are some things I'd consider selling, but only for the right price. I mean, what is Goodwill going to do with a Bigsby B3, or Hallmark pickups?

Of course, should that three pickup Elliott need a new home, I'm sure I'd find something worth a trade. ;)

As for MBP, the plan is a short set around 11AM, but anything is possible.

I think the Pan Am seats would add a certain flair to my front porch. Much better than the pair of Pinto seats there now!!
(Just kidding!!!!!!!) Good luck with your sale Mel, looking forward to catching you on the tube.

Bigsby B3, not Hammond B3. The Bigsby B3 is the short archtop vibrato without the roller arm:

I do have a horribly cheese-tastic Baldwin "Discoverer" organ like the one below which might need a new home. That's almost a Hammond. ;)

Looks like polished aluminum to me, but I don't know exactly.
