Greetings from Vegas. Just arrived 1:00 AM this morning.
SW Airline lost one of my luggages, so I had to go back to airport this afternoon to pick it up. Well, that gave me an excuse to visit Ed Roman's Guitar store. They have many more guitars on display now and have 4 vintage Mosrites (3 are '60 and 1 '70). I got my eyes on one of them and will be negotiating with good old Ed throught the sales person I know. Wish me luck, I'll need it.
I asked the Sales person to introduce Mosely's daughter to me. First of all, she was at a different location. (the shop is not behind the store liked before) The sad news is that she is no long working for them. She was fired.

Wow!

Good luck dealing with ER.
I hope you come out with your shorts still on.
Keep us advise of your new purchase if you get the guitar. plus find out what you can about Dana.

That's a bummer about you luggage.

Wow, Dana was still there a month ago. I visited ED's shop by Blue Diamond RD and she was there! In fact ED wanted
me to build him a few Acoustic Control 361 cabs. If you get a chance take a ride there he has great stuff up in his office

Thanks Tony

I wish I came back to Vegas a few months ago and I could have met with Dana. I don't know when she was fired and why? I just heard she is no longer there. I was prepared to drive over to the shop and chat with her.

That's where all the goodies went!

I visited ER Super Store many times and had seen a lot unique stuff there. But they disappeared after he moved into the smaller store. I don't think Ed would let me get into his office unless I go there with Nokie.

Vincent, are you allowed to take pix inside the New Store, or is that considered a no-no to E.R.?
How much smaller is it compared to his old "Superstore?"

Taking photos should not be problem in theri new store. I can ask them next time I am in Vegas. I have visitors today and tomorrow and going back to Chicago the day after tomorrow.
The new store is much small, I would say about 2500 sq.ft. There is no acoustic guitar room as before. It is just like a regular guitar store, it is not as impressive as the Super Store.
Here is the new smaller store:

This was the old Super Store:

I have visited Ed Roman's Custom Shop and spent two hours with Ed. Ed has a very strong personality but is a very interesting guy. He was nice to me and kind enought to showed me a lot of his personal collection (he loves movies too) and gave me a quick tour to his custom shop. I enjoyed the conversation with him and the visit a lot.
The sad news is that I took a lot photos but then found out the camera was broken.
We talked about Dana Moseley. Ed said she is on "leave of absent" now as there were not enough demand for Moseley hand wound pickups. So I'd better keep the record straight.
He likes my McNaught Tiger and HitchHikers but I decided not to trade for his '89 Mosrite
