Vintage Photo's and Comments

Hi all. Sorry it's been so long. We have had a busy touring Summer and are just now gearing down. I have located in old photo box's, photo's dating back 40 years
in some cases related to Mosrite Hisrory.
Before posting I wish to relate that no one has a "knowing all" of everything Semie built or did. It still is my feeling that Andy and the Moseley family have more first hand knowledge than most of us put together. Opinon's and stated Fact are a slippery slop sometimes. Caution must always be considered when speaking or relaying the like to media or print venue's. If those of us that love the Topic of MOSRITE, that which SEMIE AND ANDY created, Players or Collectors, we may find that those that have first hand knowledge may think twice before they relay future
information or events to anyone. Questions or the like submitted to one party
then resubmitted to second and third or even fourth party, then passed on to others
can result is distortions and misquotes. Interviews are a example for media or the
printed page. I cannot think of anyone faced with this including myself, has not
had this happen to them. I am saying this because it happened to myself and two friends. In this case questions were relayed between 1st, 2nd, 3rd even a 4th
party via e-mails, and phone calls. However no three parties talked first hand to the other. Opinion's were turned into facts and conversations were misquoted. And
none was done with any idea of passing on wrong information. There was no ill
intent. That's what is great about this FORUM, through conversation, events and
first hand knowledge we all learn.
I will post the photo's as soon as I get them in order and double check fact's
with Andy.
I will be in Anaheim, Calif. In JAn. 2010 from the 13th through the 18th for the WINTER NAMM Show. I will be also playing at the DEKE GUITAR GEEK FEST. I will
be there doing a "set" with my dear friend Brian Lonbeck. It will be a thrill to be on stage with Brian. We did a lot of shows together years ago. Doing a Joe Maphis & Merle Travis set will be great fun. Thank you Deke for the booking.
Itwill be great to see old friends like Terry(TNMGUITARS) his wife Elsie, also Buddy and wife SuzyQ. Last I talked to Bob Shade his plans were to be at the events that
week. Bob came back to visit with Andy and Mark Moseley and Myself last year.
It was great fun.
Luv to all, Hope to see many of you:
