I received these from Artie and thought I'd share them here on the forum. Did Semie have an insight into the future back then?

Yeah! I thought that was really something special. At that time (1957) Semie was a fledgling guitar builder and a proud papa. Little did he know what the future held in store for both him and his new born daughter.

Having examined and played the originals as well as Dana's work, I think Semie would be extremely proud of her carrying on the legacy of the Mosrite name.

Last time I talked with Dana, she didn't have internet access. I think she only get's to read the forum when she's visits Front Porch. Hopefully in the near future she'll be able to join us and share her wealth of knowledge.

Very Cool Artifact from "MosriteLand", I hope to see more pieces of Semie's History. Anybody know anything about Semies Gospel record - "If I get weak you'll be strong"??? I have the cover, cool pic of Semie with a Natrual Finished Gospel Guitar but not the Vinyl. Would Love to hear it, I also play Gospel Music. Thanks, BC

Not the worst hope a father can have for their daughter.
