I have a Dipinto Galaxie Los Straitjackets model. The neck is a bit fatter than a Fender. It has a real nice feel to it.The body is mahogany and kinda shaped like a Jazzmaster/Jaguar.The four pickups can be selected in any combination by seperate switches. The sounds can go from smooth and mellow to a Strat or a Jazzmaster sound.....sorry no Mosrite :( I use the Jazzmaster sound most of the time. The trem on it is like the Jazzmaster and Jaguar trem only it does not have the trem lock. There is also a roller bridge. This trem is very smooth and it has never put the guitar out of tune on me.It does have a funkey kinda look to it with the silver sparkle and the MOT guard and headstock but I got use to it in no time. I bought it from Chris Dipinto with a case for I think around $700.00.For the price ,great build quality and sound it's hard to beat. There are some posts on you tube if you want to check out the sound. And to top it off Chris autographed the back of the headstock for me :)

I have a Dipinto Galaxie IV in pink sparkle.....I know - a real manly color, but I like it(girls like it too! ;) ). Everything Mark1 said is right on. It's sorta hefty, but strapped on it's not noticeable. It's got a great Fendery tone that sorta combines strat and Jazzmaster sounds. Nice, quality instrument. Chris Dipinto seems like a good guy.
