Alright! For the record the first snow here in my part of Pennsylvania was on October 15th. It wasn't laying down though.

Metro Chicago has been really interested in raining on and off for the last 2+ weeks. Deck just got power-washed beginning of the month and has not ever dried out so it can be sealed.

Yup, the wee ones better have warm Halloween costumes here, too.

I envy you so much. It's only Spring in Australia and already it's getting so hot. Personally I hate the heat and would prefer it cold all year 'round but there's no chance of that here. In the Summer I feel miserable and sit around not wanting to do anything and even my guitars don't see much action.
Hangin' out for next Winter.

Mosman, you are residing in the improper place for your soul's temp preference, mate.

Chicago has 4 stereotypic seasons, for sure. Trouble is, in January it can get to -40 C or F, same thing, and summers can go to 100 + F or near 40 C.

'Just walked the dog, it's about 5 C / 38 F and windy, with the rain still slightly hanging around. Sump pump has had a **** of a workout this last month. Gotta replace them every couple years and always have a battery backup.

Good weather for sitting in the music room at night and picking guitar, though.
