heck, I wrote the book on THAT one! Worst example was probably a primo 1965 Hofner Beatle Bass I scored from Manny's and had shipped via FedEx.

The darned driver showed up at the kitchen door right as my wife was in the kitchen and I was really cutting some dados to distract her enough to hide that big shipping box in the potting shed before she realized what had happened. It was like a Marx Brothers movie.

Since she has learned to keep a count on the number of hardshell cases all over the house it has slowed me down considerably.

I have to store stuff at our music room at work to get past her eagle eye.

Hey Tony,

Now I know why you purchased that stock pile of Mosrite bass cases you occasionally sell on ebay. Keep her confused.

DITTO on what Billy said (LOL!).

I'll be in the Music Room, and she'll come in, stare at my new (old) guitar that I smuggled in earlier,
and ask "When did you buy that???" I'll usually respond with something like "Hon, this is the 1st guitar
you saw when we were first dating." ..........there's a pause, and she goes "Oh".........
But I have had a few close calls  ....
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.
