Well, maybe you don't remember taking the picture as you were too busy looking at Teresa's, err, t-shirt.

Also, here are a few more pictures from Bill Gruggett's house of the guitar he built for Adam. He can fill in all the details, but basically it's the neck and electronics of a brassrail on a new body. Gorgeous and heavy!!

Thanks for posting the pics you guys. The 'T' shirts look cool. A nice display of guitars too. Almost looks like one of the Guitar Geek Festivals. Sorry we missed it.

Yeah, very nice pics. I like the reflection of (Mel's?) Forum T-shirt in the scratch plate of Adam's new Gruggett beauty! I've grown accustomed to the offset body- and headstock shape of the Ventures Mosrite model which I fancy more but it's very interesting to see how this symmetrical shape looks on Bill's Mosritey guitar! Congrats to lucky Adam. ;)

Thoroughly enjoying this! I'm left speechless. I know it sounds redundant; fantastic guitars and a great bunch of people having a good time! It was like a mini-Geekfest. Thanks guys for posting the pics. Those of us living in distant lands can vicariously live the event thru them.
Adam's guitar is drop dead gorgeous.
BTW, Mel, could you tell us a little about the guitar Bill is making for you?

Yes, that's my shirt and stupid grin reflected in Adam's guitar.

Bill is making me what is essentially a three pickup (shocking, I know) Hallmark 59 Custom. It will have the early style Vibramute with the bigger bearings and the flip mute, with the same wiring as my V3, but with the controls on a pickguard and the switches up by the neck pickup. I'm pretty excited about it, and if all goes well it will be in my mitts by the end of summer.

So, Mel ... Is it going to have the Hallmark p'ups (handwound), or something different? And BTW, I'm still waiting for Bob to roll out the 59 Customs ... been holding all my purchasing until I see what it's like .... You listenin', Bob?? :D

The pickups will be Hallmarks handwound to vintage Mosrite spec.
