No, they were 2 totally different stories. The one on Pawn Stars was a Gospel,
made off of the Celebrity Series. The Doctor wanted $100,000 for it.....

Should be relatively easy to find out if Elvis was given a Ventures Model by The Ventures, ask one of The Ventures. Something tells me they would remember if they gave him one.
