8th grade talent show winner

I sold this kid this 50 watt head I built, and the Marshall cab with Celestion Blackbacks. Wish the sound was better, the kid's pretty good. At his 8th grade talent show, I'm assuming he won.

Almost forgot to point out the swanky logo on the amp head.

You never would have seen a 14 year old playing with gear like that back in my day.
How times have changed.

Wow. I was just getting my basic chords sorted out at that age!

I also did a Silvertone 1482, serviced, speaker change and one of my custom cabs for a kid that won the Robert Johnson foundation New Generation Award:

He loves the Silvertone, gave up on his BluesBreaker clone. Both of these guys dads are doctors, which helps in the gear dept, but ya still gotta practice. Which is why I work on amps instead of trying to develop "chops".

Looks like a natural, he played it so easy and sounded great. I have a good friend with a boy about his age that just got accepted on full scholarship to an artists high school in LA for his guitar playing-so amazing! Reminds me of my brother playing my dad's guitars in the house -used to play Pink Floyd as loud as he could and drove my mother crazy
