what is the exact technique, he just picks the strings behind the bridge while playing the notes?
I tried it on my Hallmark C60 and it didn't work, so I thought it might be the hallmark vs mosrite bridge difference but today I saw some guy on youtube playing a red hallmark with elliott pickups and he nailed it. Do you have to use a hard pick? I use a red dunlop one, it's quite soft but I like it.
If someone could give me a few more pointers....I was trying it unplugged, guess I need to plug in to hear it

Re: Nokie Edwards behind the bridge picking technique?
I have never tried this myself, but I have seen Deke use this technique on his Hallmarks and it sounds just like Nokie playing it, so I know it is possible on Hallmark models. Yes I am sure amplification helps.
