I saw a newly released documentary about the song Hava Nagila, its origins and history. Notable artists interviewed included Harry Belafonte, Connie Francis, and Glen Campbell, who recorded Hava Nagila as the flip side to True Grit. He even played a few bars on a Ventures model Mosrite!
No, MBP is not in the film, though there's a brief clip of Dick Dale's version, the inspiration for ours.

Thanks for sharing this interesting documentary, Mel. I always enjoy playing the rhythm part (our band playes it Spotnicks' style). Hava Nagila...a celebration of life!
