I met Eric B. in a bar in Miami many, many moons ago. Very engaging personality. Very positive energy. He mentioned his Mosrite; liked the fast neck. At the time he was self-studying music to expand his skills.

Thank you. Likely Iron Butterfly was the first band to use Mosrites for what would become Heavy Metal.

Davie Allen and the Arrows did a bunch of fuzzed out stuff then, too, tho nothing as immortal as "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida."

Remembering back, 'dunno about other places and audiences, but in metro Chicago, "In A Gadda Da Vida" was way out in space, stunning, really a rules and ground-breaker, one of the tunes which really, really became not only iconic but the band was widely imitated.

Every demi-hippie cover band around here at the time had to be able to play the above, "Born To Be Wild," "Sunshine of Your Love," "Light My Fire" and "Brown Eyed Girl."
