Hay guy's
I've watched so many of the se vids of the different bands playing, that I thought that I might have seen Deek Dickerson playing back up guitar in one of them. Correct me if I'm wrong but it sure looked like him, or maybe evil twin
LOL.

Hay Dennis, there was another change to the music also, the Ventures added a few drum strokes with electronic drums I'm sure you caught that.

Sorry to revive this old Thread
but I saw this Yuzo Kayama video of him playing Black Sand Beach. I notice they are all playing Teisco guitars with Takeshi Teriuchi playing a monkey grip Teisco. Even the Drummer is playing a Teisco drum kit
Teisco must have produced the movie to sell their guitars. I think Both Yuzo Kayama and Takeshi Teriuchi normally played Mosrites during this period.

All I can say is Wow and Wow! The two versions of Caravan are smokin! Interesting to hear Yuzo playing the Nokie licks while Jerry does his own thing - those pedal steel fills are gorgeous. All the drummers were great but I especially liked the last guy in the 2nd video with the suit and mustache - he looked cool and really grooved.
The Black Sand Beach video was fun too. I wouldn't mind having a monkey-grip Teisco. thanks for posting.
