WKZE 98.1fm Mosrite Radio timeline on Bottomless Pit

Postby LewdDude » Wed Dec 08, 2010 8:16 pm

Just listened to a great radio program with DJ Marshall Crenshaw called the Bottomless Pit from 9pm-10pm Eastern. He took the mosrite story from beginning to the 70's and played about 3 or 4 songs from each artist that used a Mosrite guitar! Talking about the man himself "Semie" and Nokie, Joe Maphis... you name it! I enjoyed it very much! you can check them out at http://www.wkze.com If yall send some emails requesting more, we might get the podcast or have him continue the subject or repeat it! :)

Yes indeed! The very same one! What a cool cat eh? I sent him an email, and don't ya know he sent me the entire radio program on a CD! Such a great Idea this program was. A tribute to the guitar from the Collins Kids to I.B. to the B52's with some Ramones, Maphis, and Ventures smattered in the mix. He went from the early days in the 50's up to the late days of the 70's and 80's of bands that played Mosrite Guitars all along the way!
