Incredible version of the Shadows cover. I've gotta say i like this one better even though im a huge Shadows fan! Sorry Hank!

My favorite version is by Jorgen Ingmann.....can't seem to find it on youtube....only covers...

Here's a link to the Jorgen Ingmann version. There is some sort of copyright problem that is causing YouTube to not let it on. From my understanding, it was made in '61, shortly after the Shadows did it. Ingmann was from Denmark. He issued an album, called "Apache". I have it on vinyl. It's pretty rare, I guess. Nothing else he ever did was all that noteworthy, but he was an excellent guitarist. This version of Apache was what inspired me to want to play guitar, as it used to be on the radio all the time, back in '61, in Phoenix, Az.

@Tim.......I used to have the 45 RPM of Jorgen's recording...the flip side was "Echo Boogie", which was pretty awesome as well..........thanks for posting this........
