Joey Ramone

Postby twango the clown » Wed Feb 24, 2010 11:18 pm

Well, Here's Joey, and that makes all of them. I have other frames, but they are so similar you can't tell the difference from the slide without a microscope. When we opened for them years later in 1985 at The Axis on Lansdowne Street, They had Marky (Bell) Ramone on drums. At one point in the dressing room on that wild night my wife left the baby in his carriage to be watched by all four Ramones while she went to the bathroom. As I came offstage, they were feeding him pizza.

Oh, he took to pizza all right. He's 25 now and just got out of the Marines after two Iraq deployments. The Ramones didn't rub off on him though... he's into John Mayer.

I saw the Dropkick Murphy's at the Avalon on Lansdown in 2006 on Saturday night during the St Patty's Day shows.

That was one of the hightlights of my concert experiences.
