The Moseley name

This question may have been asked previously. Being a geneology buff I am always interested in the origin of family names and people lineage in general. Semie Moseley had two interesting names. I recall a thread where we talked about Semie's first name and where it came from, but does anyone know the origins of the Moseley name?

Hi Sarah ,
I think the Brits have to hold their hands up here ..

Seems to be quite an old name over here .. Anglo-Saxon is quite old.
I wonder when they got to the usa ?
