This band is playing all original early '60s Mosrites including Nokie's original '63. They are featured in the Vintage Mosrite book that I have, unfortunately it is in Japanese so I don't know what is being said. I'm not sure but I think all the guitars they are playing may have been obtained directly from the Ventures at the end of a tour in Japan. Maybe Adam can tell us the specifics.

Yes, I can detect a familiar sound Danny!! :D :D :D -thanks for posting. It's good to see them getting played (even if perhaps for short periods of time) and I'm sure they are in good hands.

Danny,
Not trying to stir up trouble, but the Bass player is on a '64 (at the earliest) as well as the the Lead guitar player.
The Mattel circled 'M' is not to the left of the 1st and 6th 'E' string tuners on the Headstock, and there is no binding
on these instruments. However the Rhythm guitarist players (1 sunburst and 1 red) are 63's ;) .

Your right Dennis.

OK, according to the photo's in the book, the red guitar is a '63, sunburst is '65, white bass is a '65., the other sunburst is a '63 serial #0047 and was obtained from Nokie. Trying to second guess the book, I 'believe' all the instruments were obtained directly from the Ventures.

I changed my post to state early '60s Mosrites. ;)
