Johnny Ramone sculpt.

Postby mosman » Thu Sep 17, 2009 3:10 am

Unfortunately my pictures are coming out very small for some reason but here's a shot of my Johnny Ramone bust which I'll be producing. I'm still sculpting the base which it'll sit on so watch this space Ramones fans!

Hey MOSMAN... I wouldn't suppose you have any Richie Ramone Figures laying around for purchase?

No I'm sorry, but sculpting a drum kit would be a real chore and having a figure of either Tommy, Marky or Ritchie just standing there holding a pair of sticks would look a bit odd.
However I decided to get around that by doing busts, and Johnny is the first I've done so a Ritchie bust is lurking further down the road.

Good on you, mosman; that is hip and captures the face well.

Interesting, how often artist of one persuasion, e.g. guitar pickers, are oft artists of others, luthiers, writers, sculptors, painters....
