Anyone Know Who This Might Be?

Postby Dennisthe Menace » Sun Mar 22, 2009 8:00 pm

OK Boys and Girls, you're gonna have to 'freezeframe' this very quickly. What you will need to do is, be ready to stop this 'youtube' as soon as it starts  !!
Pauly our Bass Player caught this one, so as soon as you see the 'blank blue screen,' be ready to stop the screen on 001 second(s)! I think I know who this is, although this was definitely an earlier version of the group. But the guitar and the bass should give it away for anyone who remembers the late 60s  .....

PS...."If you remember the 60s.....then you weren't there!"

OK Dennis, I give, who is it?

But the Magoos playing all the Vox stuff was funny, Ralph the singer/organist was just singing and Peppy the guitarist was playing the organ. Maybe they didn't have a second guitar around for the show.

Oh and by the way, if you pause the video and then grab the little handle on the slider bar below the screen, you can move to any point in the video. This makes stopping on the opening screen easier.

Hey no one is to old/young for quality gear! Now there was a time a back in the 80's you could buy Thomas Organ vox amps for I swear 50 bucs yes I know solid state blah blah, play a Berkley or a Buckingham piggy back from this era and you will be converted! (and save some money) plus the reverb is divine the trem. is great and the fuzz is sick!.. geranium fuzz over load!

Yep....I got to thank Brutus for stepping to the sideline to let someone else take a shot at this, for he PM'd me with the
correct answer as soon as I had posted this ;) . But Brutus and I have been PMing back and forth about that PIC. That is
Danny Weis playing lead guitar who sold his gear to Erik Brann after leaving the group, so Brutus is also correct when he
earlier had posted:
I'm all over it. (the first guitar player sold his rig to the second)
which BTW, was a good clue, and the last clue would of been: Who wrote "In the Garden of Eden?" Brutus knows his Iron Butterfly  .
And Paul, how did you manage to catch that picture in order to post it  ? Whenever I would try something like that, it would always
end up playing the entire VID  . Someone needs to show me that trick  .............
