As I remember skate rock, it was what they played at the rooler skating rink. Mostly calliope music, if I remember right. I guess this dates me, huh?

So I did my homework....and must admit I really didn't care for the vocal stylings of the skate rock. I'm a big fan of instro rock, with instro surf being my favorite of the "non vocal" styles, followed by Biker Flick soundtracks with a psychedelic edge. Fuzz lives!

I use my Mosrite for Rockabilly and classic rock, ie Creedance, etc.

GSTP = I was really just kiding with this survey (Nice, understood the humor immediately... In my day there were only a couple of reasons to go to the Park... 1) FIGHT_ between the Skates & Surfs or the Punks & Mod's. 2) Buy dope from the Mettlers!

Zarfnober = Exactly! (Son of a Good Mother... Now that makes 1, and 1 reason only that this Forum should be put on LOCKDOWN! _ The name I cannot say out loud. Kinda like The FONZE trying to say SZZSS_SZs.SORRY)
I will respond on the Forums Fate Shortly... Is there a thumbs down smiley somewhere

What do I like best?
Metal with a side of everything... except wearing my hat sideways and pretending my dad's pants fit!

For me - surf music. I do love punk rock however, and play Ramones-influenced stuff myself.

But how come nobody mentioned snowboarding yet? I used my Mosrite Ranger on The Silver Hawks tunes on this comp: http://www.reverbcentral.com/reviews/co ... c7215.html

This concludes my report from outer space. Now, back to studio!

Incredible! I showed it to my son...he said: "naw, you can see that it's computer animation".
Well, it seems very real and feasible to me though; watching that rollerblade guy made me hold on to my seat...wouldn't want him to make a wrong turn now, would we? ;)

I think your son may be mistaken. Grimsel Pass is a very real place. Check out the beginning of this video and you can see him putting the Roller Suit together. http://www.livevideo.com/video/rclark23 ... in-sw.aspx

At the end of this video you can see some night time "rolling".
