that does suck! CJ is one of the coolest guys anyone would ever want to met, and personally has been an idol of mine for a long time. I remember reading he said that this bass was his favorite too, better then his fenders he played with the ramones!
I hope it turns up, and hopefully everyone on the forum will be looking for it. This kind of stuff happens far too often, and why i rarely used my own mosrites for shows. my old bass player lost his musicman and it took him 3 years to find it again, and when he got it back it was beaten up pretty bad. I helped restored it, but still the whole experience is just more terrible then I can describe on this forum.
Cheers,
Aaron

CJ sold that Mosrite that Semie built for him. He told me so himself in a letter. I posted that letter somewhere on this forum.

He also told me that he likes his Mosrite better than the Fenders as well. I hope to meet him in person one day. If he plays anywhere near FL, I will.

Here is the link to the post where I posted that letter from CJ.

I have a 11x17 poster from a show the Ramones did at the Cuban Club in Tampa in 1991. The date on the poster is in January, but the show was in April. It was postponed b/c a certain bass player quit & the Ramones had to get a replacement. I thought he'd like a copy, so I sent him a copy & he signed a copy of it & sent it back. He took the time to write a quick note & gave me a pick he used in Europe. A small but very cool gesture.

If we were able to find that guitar, it would really be cool. I know its a shot in the dark, but ya never know.
