Arcade Fire bassist uses a Mosrite - Photo.

Looking through yesterday's THE NEW YORK TIMES, and in the WEEKEND Arts section there's an article "Anthems of All Kinds Sail to the Stages" featuring a page-wide b&w photo of a group named Arcade Fire. My eye was immediately drawn to the bass player who is holding a Mosrite. I wanted to share the news with you but first I did a search here and Arcade Fire did not show up. Next I went to Google Images and found a nice 'n' huge color photo of the group and you can see the photo in the link. The photo looks like it was taken at 10MP! Which will allow a nice closeup of everyone but, especially, the bass. Enjoy.

NOTE TO ADMINISTRATOR: My apology, I didn't know the photo was going to appear here at full resolution, I thought it'd be small and you could click on the photo to enlarge it. Anyway, I'll simply provide the URL only and you can go look at it instead of taking up bandwidth.

No problem. I'm glad you changed it to a link. Also I moved it from the Vintage section to the Music related section. The vintage section is where we discuss the particulars about a vintage Mosrite. Bands and or musicians using a Mosrite will be discussed in the Music related section. I know this can be confusing. That's why I get paid the big bucks to keep everything organized.

You're right. I just looked at the photo of my Maphis and the short and rounded horns verify that. But the tuners have been "modernized". My Maphis had duck feet tuners.
