Johnny Ramone question.

As some of you may know I sculpt and produce Ramones statues and at the moment I'm doing a highly detailed Johnny R bust. In the early days he wore a leather thing clipped to the right hand epaulette of his jacket and for the life of me I can't figure out just what it was. None of my reference photos show it clearly enough so I'm wondering if any of the Forum Ramones fans might have an idea as to what it was.

yeah they are civil war era hand cuffs, they are called nippers/come alongs. you can usualy find them on ebay.
