What amp do you use for your mosrite?

Postby dave m » Sat Mar 07, 2020 12:09 am

I run my 68 mosrite combo through a 5e3 fender deluxe clone for small venues and a fender prosonic head with tone master cab for outdoor or large rooms. I am curious about what amps do you as a mosrite owner use for gigs and home use? I use my mosrite for rock, blues, surf, country, psychedelic, funk and jazz. I love my rig . What is your go to set up? Thanks for any feed back. Post a pic if you can

I also have (not in that pic) a Deluxe Reverb AB763 that I built as a head to go with all those cabs. It handles the psychosurfabilly tones perfectly.

And I just recently built a 6G15 reverb unit. It does the drip beautifully!

I have been using a Fender Tone Master Twin of late. I have used it for the last 6 Months and loving it. As with some of you I am not as young as I used to be so a Twin that weighs only 33 lbs. is great. You can't tell the difference from the real thing when playing out.

I'm entirely an "at home" player with my Hallmark Johnny Ramone either into a Marshall Lead 12 Micro Stack or a Danelectro Nifty Fifty. Quite different, but both are lots of fun!

I have two kind-of Mosrites...actually HitchHikers, and I use a Roland Jazz Chorus mostly...I also have Roland Cube 80XL, and a Tech 21 for smaller gigs.
