@ Bob... where I could find Dan Moses? I don't try any mail about him and Dynotones
@ Dennis... That Rockman Sustainor looks beautiful: do you think I could obtain that preamp sound with my Mosrite? Do you have some mp3 files to hear your sound?
@ ElTwang... I play through an Acoustic amp (in spite of his name, this is a guitar amp with 4 6L6 made in California in the eighties) or a 1963 Ampeg Reverberocket with about 22 watts. I could say that there are not so much difference in sound. Do you have some mp3 files to hear your sound?
At this point, I want to made other settings with all my gear

As far as I remember the Atomic was the only pedal I used on the El Ray tour we did in California in 2012. I used it with all kinds of amps and most often into a reverb tank. In this clip the amp was a Showman. Dunno if it helps.

Re: Preamp pedal for Mosrite?
What do you actually mean by "preamp pedal"? Are you talking about a simple clean boost?

mmmmmm...
I think that a boost has only one pot and a preamp pedal has two or three pots and preamp pedal has an equalization you don't find in a boost

Well I think that Ed Elliot or M3 or Hallmark pickups are real good for that Ventures sound
But it isn't the sound I have in mind. That is I'm playing heavy surf with some guitar pedal and those big pickups don't work with mine pedals
Some months ago I wrote to Ed Elliot, He is a good Person and He told me that it was possible make a pickup with less kohm to obtain my sound
I've spoken also with other two guitar tech, I've readt about M3 dual tone and my conclusion is that I need a sort of 7-8 kohm for each pickup
Thank you very much also for this thread and all of.you, because now my mind is clearer than ever (I hope so)
Cheers!!!
