Ok, so this is really a Squier.
I actually liked it better compared to $1,600 Jag we had, and besides my Hallmarks I have no "cheap" guitars to mess around on.
I painted the headstock, new decals, pick guard, Mosrite bridge, fender neck plate, knobs, and strung with the 11 Gauge M-Steels.
I can't wait to record some Surf Tunes!
Oh yeah, even the "block" inlays I "stuck" on myself!

Re: My New "Fender" Jaguar....
Cool looking guitar! Was the bridge a snug fit, or did you drill and fill some? Is the radius correct?
I recently bought a MIJ Jag and I couldn't be more disappointed. Typical Fender low quality product (they say that this particular series is 'top notch'),
plays like a log, sounds anemic, etc.
I'll stick to my Hallmarks / Mosrites for all kind of music. Funny though, the Jag didn't sit well in the surf mix, but it really rawked with distortion even though it's been strung with nickel 12s.

This looks really cool Marky! What kind of 'Fender Jaguar' pups are on it?

Re: My New "Fender" Jaguar....
Thanks guys, I had to shim the neck for the bridge fit, and it buzzed a but so I have the Mustang bridge on now. I agree with Fender quality, so that's why I got a squire. I mainly bought it as a wall decoration and can't stop staring at it. The pickups are whatever was stock. They say Duncan Designed, but not sure on an exact type. It actually sounds great!
