I know this is a Mosrite forum, but I've always had a soft spot for SGs. I've been eyeing this Angus sig SG for a long time at one of my local guitar center and they kept dropping the price. Finally snagged for about half. Made em do a full setup on it and took it home. I love it!

Thanks guys.

It aint black though. It's a very deep translucent dark black-cherry red. It does look black much of the time though.

We have one of those @ my GC too. We sold it and was returned. Asking $1499. I've been wanting an SG too. I had a yellow one and put a spider man sticker on it as a "Stan Lee of the Dickies Tribute."

Haha, if you like a Mosrite neck, and have any interest in getting an SG, this might be the one for you! The neck on this thing is very slim and narrowed at the nut. The Angus sig bridge humbucker is moderately hot. Not as hot as a 498T, but hotter than any of their "vintage" style pickups, like 57 Classics or any of the Burstbuckers. Cool guitar.

Here's a quick AC/DC-style clip I did of the Angus SG and a cranked 1979 Marshall JMP 2204 into a Greenback cab in action.
