Offset Project - First Fit-up

Postby olrocknroller » Wed Aug 08, 2012 6:10 pm

Well, I have sanded until my arms threatened to fall off, so decided to fit up the hardware...

Harmonics came in nicely, and the sound is real nice... The walnut softens the EMG's a little, but the maple in the neck retains a lot of clarity in the tone... Zo little time, zo much wood to 'speriment with!

I've always loved the look of maple and walnut together. I'm surprised that there aren't more people using walnut for guitars. Great job.
