Because I have to wait on some parts and decisions for another buid I finally started to design my own model.
I know there will be some controversy about the headstock shape...(I'm working on a 3x3 too)
And this will be the bass version
But first... the guitar to work out the design-flaws and because I am curious how it will look IRL.

Very nice...a little reminiscent of the offset body design. I also like the headstock, clean and functional...here's another design idea that would work well for you...

What is the material on the lower bout of the guitar looks like a sealer of sorts.

Dan,I soaked the endgrain on susupicious areas of the alder with superglue. Alder has sometimes some porous medullary rays.. Wich can cause problems after finishing.
