Yes, I still smoke, though I go through an attempt to quit about once a year.

Jim, people say 'it's a matter of willpower' and I would retort: how very true, I want to smoke, LOL.
Seriously though, I have always enjoyed smoking (and in fact have never stopped -in my mind) but medical issues had to convince me to stop. In 1991 I was diagnosed with Chronic Bronchitis. I soon looked it up to learn more and needed no further prompting to quit after having read the first sentence in the medical section of my old edition of Pear's Encyclopedia: "First, get the patient to stop smoking" (men were still dying from it in Great Britain in the '60's....ouch!).

Quitting has paid off! Good luck to you. Tip: if we play on our Mosrites plenty and regularly, it will help keep us from reaching for a cig.

Now, back to your Boy Howdy! ;)

Hey, Paul--

My wife was able to quit smoking very abruptly 20 years ago but I have not been able to do that. I really enjoy smoking and it soothes me.

That being said, I still hope to quit someday.
