Yay, comedians! Not sure what we're doing with pickups yet other than going for that vintage DeArmond sound. Still deciding on inlays as well. I'm terrible at making decisions. Just ask Oi!

Is that the mold to create the "arch"? Is that drum wrap on the top? Was it glued to the top while still flat and then dried, or is the glue still damp as it is clamped on the mold? Did you use hide glue or another product to glue it to the top? Inquiring minds need to know!

The top is laminated (3layers veneer) in a vacuum-bag just like I did with the other arched tops. Then glued the red pearl (celluloid) on with acetone-glue. . Its quite a tricky process so I'm glad it worked out well!

Blue is on the sides, now it have to dry for a while before I rout the binding-channel.
