I have a vibramate V7 on my Epi LP.
Easy install, but I did have to drill a new hole for the strap button as it wasn't center on the guitar.

If you use vibrato, yes. Yes, you should. LPs with Bigsbys are the cat's junk.

I finally got around to putting mine on, the vibrato is more subtle than the Mosrite, but still pretty nice.
I intend to grind some of the stopper off the unit as I like to play with the bar over the strings and my fingers are a little bit short to reach across to it.

I for one love to use a Bigsby. On my Gretsch guitars I have the Chet handle that doesn't move as Chet had. I use it all the time so I like it right there under my hand. It is also more responsive than the flat handle. (there is no give in it) When I play the Mosrite or Hallmark I also use the vibrato all the time. It takes some time to get used to using my guitars without a Bigsby so as time goes by they will also have one.

We do need to see pic's of this guitar now you know. LOL

I ended up filing a good chunk of the stopper lump off the Bigsby last weekend.
Now the tip of the bar reaches the G and is much more friendly to my playing style.

the bigsby does change up the tone a little bit, and kills some of the sustain famous to a LP. one word of caution. the felt pads under the vibramate and bigsby will make a mark in the finish if you put them on. more then likely it could be buffed out, but you should still know before making the jump. hopefully your LP isn't too heavy, the B7's add a decent about of weight to an LP. like it really needs more weight ;)

Sold my Les Paul and it was indeed very heavy, but not as heavy as the guitar that replaced it ;)
