thanks, I have a very thin coat of clear on it now, but I plan to add more. It's been a joy to play. I'm going to use add some light checking in the finish as well, try to make it look as realistic as possible.

Does it intonate with a lightning bolt bridge? The lightning bolts were designed for the later guitars, whereupon the studs weren't mounted at an angle. On a 50s LP Jr/Special, the studs are mounted offset, and the bridge surface is a straight line.

yeah i know its not the original bridge. my friend was trying to hunt down one to go on it. this one actually intonates perfectly.
