Nah! They are rough sawn to eliminate all the excess wood then routed to final shape with a jig. Those photos remind me a lot of the Mosrite factory on P Street in the 60s.

Yes, most interesting footage. I watched this very same video just the other day, thanks to oigun who linked us to another video about neck shaping, if my (short) memory serves me right. That's where I found it and thought it was only me who missed having seen it in the past
