Very cool video! That is quite an education on how things were done back in the day. Interesting to see women wearing dresses and skirts and men shirtless in that environment. OSHA would have a field day!

wow! Looks like a Jazzmaster prototype on Leo's desk, and is it just me, or were the bodies and necks getting cut without templates?!?

Nah! They are rough sawn to eliminate all the excess wood then routed to final shape with a jig. Those photos remind me a lot of the Mosrite factory on P Street in the 60s.

Yes, most interesting footage. I watched this very same video just the other day, thanks to oigun who linked us to another video about neck shaping, if my (short) memory serves me right. That's where I found it and thought it was only me who missed having seen it in the past :?
