Yes, the guitar gods were shining on me this week. I made some good sales and wound up winning the auction on that super cool Premier double neck. Long story short, I wound up buying this from the kinda fella instead. Ebony fretboard with amazing inlays. The likes of which I have never seen. The DeArmond pickups are super sweet too!

I seriously love this guitar even more than I thought I would. I just played for over an hour while my little Gretsch amp was burning up. The neck pickup with a little tremolo, along with Duane Eddy, sounds dead on. HAHA, so who wants to buy my Starfire IV? Ahh, I love that one too as it's basically my ES335 but it's just not getting any play time these days and this one sounds sooooo much better!

1/19/63, I jumped on the Let's Talk Guild to see if I could find out a little more about it.

It might have been a special order Starfire. Guild made a Merle Travis model that had star inlays similar to that.

That's what I was thinking. The Guild guru is going to see if he can find it in the original ledgers of final assembly.
