I'm not familiar with the various Les Paul models. This was a gold top with satin finish mahogany neck and back, humbuckers, with pull up volume pots that make each pickup single coil. The owner said he traded in two Epiphones and got it out the door for $1700. The neck was very thin and felt as good as my custom build Mosrite clones.

yeah that's the latest twist on the standard model I think. I like the coil tap feature on LP's.

Kinda lost interest in it. I placed it in a gig bag, stuck it in the closet and pretty much forgot about it. I'll dig it out and finish it one of these day's. Too many iron's in the fire right now.

Danny, I've got several going back to '56. When you want to resurrect the project, give me a shout.

Well, almost one year after I started this project and losing interest in it, I have finally returned to finish it. Last week I started by spraying the sanding sealer and have now sprayed the white base coat on the body. Hopefully I will see it through to a finished project before moving on to something else.

Dunno if this has been offered before; Mustang is an offset guitar, compare waist position in the Mustang to the DuoSonic.

Good to see this back on the schedule, I had been nosin' around in this thread but completely lost it. Looking forward to seeing it finished. Mucho coolio!
