Well, they could change those ugly head stocks and would have a close copy of a Carvin. Which BTW, have you guy's ever played a Carvin? They are sweet guitars and the price is darn good for an all American made guitar.

I've been reading through posts, and you all stay on topic WAY too much, so I'm going to tie the Mosrite to Peavey to Carvin topic all into an Ovation guitar.

I had a Carvin DC400T blue burst over flamed maple guitar, and wow! It was really a great axe. So I traded it  . I traded it for something much more interesting (though oddly with similar functions). It's a prototype that we beleive to be the 2nd one made of around 20. It was in response to Peavey's jumping in the market with the T-60 (another favorite guitar of mine).

It's a very cool story, please have a read on my website...

darn!!! How I hated these frickin Companies that just HAD to have the pick-up height adjustment
with 2 screws on 1 side, and only 1 on the other side. Yamaha, as well as a bunch of others, were
notorious for this. I HATED THAT!!!

Ugly, Ugly, Ugly Peavey Guitar. I hated T-60's in the 70's, very heavey and so many switches. I can pull tone from Peavey amps though. I've played Festivals with Recording artist were the backline was in place and ready to go and the Peavey amps were always the same. Can't say the same for all the terrible 70's Fender Master Volume Twin Reverbs I had to play through on the Fly. Always a crap shoot with those. BC http://www.myspace.com/thethunderheads

Speaking of Carvin, Has anyone else been to the Carvin Compound in Cali :?:

Yes! I go there every time I go down to Guitar Center. There's a Carvin store just across the street. They are 'REAL NICE' guitars and the prices aren't bad for the quality you get. Carvin just doesn't seem to have a strong following.

This picker seems to have a stunted imagination, not owning or GAS-ing for any Peavey or Carvin gear.

'Gotta hand it to them on at least one additional point beyond thier good quality and reputations; every guitar they make does not look exactly-ish like a Strat or Tele or LP.

If Hartley and pals decided to make a Mo-clone...hmmm.
