I guess Fender...

finally figured out that they raised their prices too high. It looks like all their amp prices are back down to where they were before they raised them. Now if they would just reduce the their guitar prices back to the same level! I wonder if folks are going to be put off and still not buy because of that move...

If their Sales do pick up with their Amps, more than likely, they will readjust their prices (hopefully) with their guitars as well ;) ....

Either that or this recession and the "needed" price change came, toether, at a crummy time for Fender and the rest of the world.

Gotta admit there are some appealing bargains out there!

Actually I feel that Fenders are pretty reasonably priced considering the quality.

'Agree, Fenders are for the most part very fairly priced. And in June, 'snagged a truly hip VG Strat for the $999 price tag. Outrageously freaking nice guitar, even (especially?) with the batteries out of it and running as as an American Standard.
