Kustom Amp Show

Postby Mr. Bill » Thu Jun 11, 2009 1:29 pm

There is a Kustom Collector show coming up June 27th at the Chanute Country Club, in Chanute Kansas.

Bud Ross and some former Kustom employees are scheduled to attend. There will be 10-15 collectors bringing their stuff to show.

I know a few of us here own Kustom amps and I thought that if you live in the area you might want to have a look see. I've heard that Bud Ross will be bringing some of his own collection. The show opens at 11am and is supposed to be free to the public.

Mr. Bill--

Seriously, you have to take some pics and post them to the list. I have to see photo evidence of this show! Wish I could go.

I guess this is the third or fourth time this event has happened.

In the past they gathered at Vintage Guitar Shows, so this is the first time (and maybe last time) that they are meeting back in Kansas where the company was originally located.

Former employees have been contacted and are supposed to be there.

I will take photos and I will try and get to Bud Ross to ask about the Mosrite deal/connection.

Bill,
Do you know whether the old Factory Building still exists, or did it follow
the same outcome that happened to the Mosrite Factory??
