Eugen, your photo reminds me of the time, in the mid-1980s, when I was having a Gibson acoustic guitar repaired at my guitar tech's in Safety Harbor, Florida. The Gibson Gospel needed the nut replaced, and I was walking through the tech's kitchen to his workshop in his garage when I saw a violin-shaped guitar in progress on his kitchen table.
I said to the tech, "Bob, I've never seen a guitar like that before? Who makes those?" and he replied, "I'm making it to give to Joe Pass. I need to get my name out as a guitar builder."
I was absolutely astonished, and said, "You're making a guitar FROM SCRATCH? Impossible! Guitars are made in factories!!!" And Bob Benedetto replied, "I indeed make them from scratch!"
I wasn't sure that Bob wasn't kidding me but it turns out that he was telling the truth.
