I have been following Mr. Noble (N. Hyashi) for some time now, entertaining the completely unsubstantiated hypothesis that he could be the mysterious luthier who builds the HitcHiker for Nokie Edwards. Mr. Noble has a long and illustrious history as a luthier, I believe being credited with the design of the Wilkinson tremolo, among other innovations.
