The LINK in my Mosrite chain…

Guys, this is the link http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showth ... p?t=296808
(The Gearpage) that brought me:

a. to Hallmark Guitars and subsequently my first “Ventures Mosrite” guitar and
b. to my newfound ‘family’ at the Mosrite Forum :)

Most interesting is the response of a certain “alvagoldbook” there to a skeptic knocking the Mosrite :x in a post about “Mosrite recommendation?”… If you have the time it's worth reading!

BTW, notice the mention of a ”Bob Grunett, the guy who co-designed the original Ventures model with Semi is working with Hallmark,…”
Of course he must’ve been referring to BILL GRUGGETT!
(he's forgiven, unless I’m wrong)

Enjoy!

Interesting reading! you are right about Bill Bruggett. Bob is the owner of Hallmark.

BTW, I always wonder about your user name; "Veenture"? I think it has something to do with the "Ventures"? Is it spelled that way in your country?

In Taiwan, The Ventures are called "Tou Ji Zhe" (actually means Oppourtunisits)

Hey Desert Surfer,

Bingo!

I chose "Veenture" as nickname because:

a.) my surname is VAN DER VEEN and
b.) I 'm a great fan of THE VENTURES (duh…)

The spelling of the band’s name is the same in my country as in the US and while we’re on the subject, I noticed you made a typo error too; it should be Bill Gruggett!
(but what's in a name...)

I value your posts Desert Surfer!
Cheers,
Paul

Very creative name. I chose "Desert surfer" because I am a surfer who can't swim.. so it is safer with sands.., and I am going to retire in a Desert town as I hate snow...

Yeah, when you get old, you can't see keyboard too well.
