It was a rather long interview but it has answered a few questions: :?

1) What was Nokie's very first guitar? :o

2) Which Ventures album is Nokie's most favorite? ;)

I was wrong for both. :oops:

Very nice samples from Nokie's new CD, "Hitchin' A Ride"......I think I'm gonna have to get me that one.........thanks for posting...... :)

Nice interview, but it's too bad that Andy Ellis or his producer didn't do much research on Nokie before the show. It seems that he thinks Nokie only played with the Ventures.

It also seems like he never heard of Merle Travis or the fact that Bob Bogle played lead on the original Walk Don't Run.

The interviewer was asking some stupid questions, but I was exciting to hear that Nokie loved Live in '65 the most. Such a great recording

Thanks for posting this. I rarely hear Nokie speak more than 2 words. Good to hear this interview and his new album.
