WTB: Hallmark 59 Custom

Postby vibramute » Sun Aug 21, 2011 11:13 pm

With no leads on a Mosrite Combo and with some spare money burning a hole in my pocket, I'd really like to find a '59 Custom in sunburst with the old style vibrato/mistake plate. Bob Shade isn't really saying when he's going to have these guitars again (if ever) and rather then wait, I thought I'd see if somebody from the forum may have one they'd like to part with. PM if you've got one you'd like to sell. Thanks in advance.

As much as Bob and his staff love wet sanding, I can't believe they won't make more of those!!!

Bob asked me one time if I wanted to try wet sanding, and I ran away like a rabbit. That was the only thing that saved me.

We could make you a brand new 60 Custom in sunburst with the flip mute aluminum tailpiece and mistake plate if you wish. The only real dif would be the headstock shape.

Bob...if I end up buying t.bags '59, could I purchase the old style vibrato/mistake plate from you and swap them?

Yes, you may. The cost of the aluminum TP with flip mute bridge is $500.00 complete. We will also include the black plate and mounting screws, spring etc..
