I own one of the seemingly rarest of rares; looking to acquire another. These are the coolest.

I've only ever seen one on eBay and I've been recording Mosrite auctions for over a year now. How does yours play and sound?

Hey Austin,

It plays and sounds deeper than deep, stronger than strong, pure(er) than pure, round(er) than round, full(er) than full, and the "wicked super-bad" fuzz potential is off the scale.

To my ear and gut, it is not just a 350 with one pick-up; there is more to it than that; just my opinion.

The neck is flat, wide and massive in its form and construction. Totally diffrent from my 350 (non-stereo).

I am still mad at myself for not going after the one on Ebay last December; this was #0006 (I believe); I have #0005 with the unusual stamped initials (E.W.) below the serial number. When #0006 came up on Ebay last December it was just too close to the Christmas Holiday and the timing was bad for putting out a $1,000 or so; it killed me when it went for $709.00.

These are the only two 300 guitars I have ever seen listed in the past 7 years of my tracking Mosrites for sale. (Michael Marks has the 300 bass #0002). So, where are the rest? How many did Semie and the guys ever produce? I would love to know the answer. (Maybe Ed Elliot might know).
